Doesn’t it seem like as the cooler weather sets in you develop a keener appetite for foods? It’s no wonder as the cooler weather means it’s time for State Fairs, Hayrides, Chili Cookouts and many other food eating gatherings. The time is right then to take advantage of those growling stomachs and host a “Food Fest Fundraiser”.

Set down with your PTA group and plan a smörgåsbord of delicious delights sure to draw in the masses. Create things which will appeal to many cultures and ethnic groups. Take a tour of the world through the foods from which they sprang.

Assign one or two PTA members to oversee one or two dishes each. It might be helpful if you can keep them to finger foods or foods which can be easily carried in a small container during this time. Have each create enough of the dish to feed at least fifty people per item they create.

Be sure to find enough people to make several different sorts of foods to be sampled during this Food Fest. You might ask that whatever food each is assigned to, they man the distribution of foods from their table too. This takes a lot of stress off the host/hostess and eases the load on everyone.

Ask around and find long tables to be used during this fundraiser. People can lend or donate the use of theirs. Too you might be able to use the school cafeterias during this fundraiser. Napkins, small food containers, and forks or spoons should be available for the food.

Sam’s Wholesale or places like Costco have these sort of items in bulk, for mere dollars, so it shouldn’t put to much of a dent in the budget for setting this fundraiser up. It would probably be feasible to purchase some sort of bottled or canned drinks for this fundraiser too.

Once all the ins and outs of the fundraiser have been put into play, then decide on a location which will house rows of tables with enough room for people to gather around. Set up a different area for seating to eat and drink. Have different types of music to support the theme of the fundraiser.

Give your food samplers the whole fundraising effect and atmosphere. This is sure to bring in those funds for your school. Another thing you might consider doing is putting together recipes of the foods prepared, so that if anyone wants to they can take them home with them to create them for themselves at a later date.

Okay here’s how the funds part comes into play. Once you’ve advertised your fundraiser, have made books of tickets to sample five different Food Fest Foods. These can be purchased for $7.00 a book. This way people can decided whether or not to share a book amongst themselves or purchase a book for each family member. Advertise this fundraiser to the community and local surrounding towns. It’s a great way to get the support of many and not just a few. Fundraisers are a great way to raise money for those school needs. So put some thought and planning into this fundraiser, and enjoy with gusto!

So…….it’s a little chilly today, but that’s okay. This will be part of the fun of this fundraiser. This fundraiser is about trying to dunk the silly on the little seat over the water. Welcome to your “Dunking Booth Fundraiser”.

Get all those teachers together, coaches, city council, preachers, businessmen and politicians. Line them up for a cool dunk in the dunking booth. Don’t worry it isn’t personal or is it? The whole idea is that anyone who wants to take a throw has to belly up to the pitching area and lay down their money for a try.

Think about all the stress and frustration this fundraiser will rid each person of. From young to old let the balls start flying. This type of fun is sure to bring in the funds for the school as well as tons of laughter as the ball makes contact with the bullseye and in goes the person being dunked.

Be sure you find willing participants who aren’t afraid to heckle the throwers. Perhaps a student has a beef with a certain teacher, or a person has a beef with their councilman, this is a great time to clear the air at no harm to either. Again though, they will have to pay to play.

Now finding your dunking booth. Some party rental stores carry such items and are willing to assemble them at your dunking site. You can call around and see if someone would be able to make you a dunking booth or two for this particular fundraiser. Once you’ve located it or had it made where will you set it up?

You’ll need to set up your dunking booth in an area which will accommodate a lot of people. Perhaps the football field, or a park area would be good. You might even consider having some sort of snack booths set up for refreshments too. Make this fundraiser more than a throw and I’m out of here sort of fundraiser. Finds things along the line of your fundraiser to entertain others while awaiting their turn to dunk whoever.

This doesn’t need to be a long drawn out fundraiser, but you want it to be long enough to raise a nice amount of funds for your school. You’ll need to decide on the amount of money you’ll ask for, for each throw.

Don’t forget to get some softballs for throwing too. Dollar stores, or even borrowing from the schools sports equipment might work. You just need something to toss when aiming for that bulls eye.

You could run with this theme of booths and set up a kissing booth too. Of course you’ll want to keep it on the up an up and set an age limit to who can participate, but this would be a great way to make extra money for your school. Just keep this sort of booth well supervised and it will go well.

Okay here’s the start of a fundraising plan. Now add your own ideas into making this fundraiser fun and effective. You might even consider putting yourself up on the hot seat a time or two, or pucker your lips up for a smooch.

This fundraiser is a snap. It wont require a lot of detailed planning, but it will be just as fun and as effective as a more detailed fundraiser.

First of all you’ll need approval from the school’s superintendent to host this fundraiser for your school. After acquiring the permission head off to the local or nearest craft store and get a random amount of buttons, cottonballs, rubberbands or whatever easy guessable item you might find.

Select a container which will hold your choice of items you’ll fill it with. Be sure the container is roomy enough to hold quite a bit. You want to make this fundraiser not too easy! You want to be able to make it where your guessers truly need to look and try to figure out how much your container is holding.

Now setting up a day for the event can be as many as one day or as long as you want it to be. The whole idea is to raise funds for your school, so each day you host this event the more funds that can be raised.

Selected a location that is attainable by all. Perhaps the school’s main office, or a library, grocery store or club to house the container. You’ll want the place to be conducive to a flow of foot traffic, throughout the day. Have sheets of paper with a place for name, phone number, and the guess.

Arrange for a person to be at whatever location you house the container at, to take the money for the guess and the guess itself. This way it prevents people from turning in multiple guesses without paying for each guess they make.

Charge a fair price for each guess. That way if people want to make more than one guess, for X amount of dollars, they’ll feel like they’re getting their moneys worth of guesses.

Now the prize someone wins need to be a very nice prize. Something like a weekend trip to a nice destination, or passes to a nearby theme park, water park, or something of equal value which would appeal to masses and not the few.

After your desired amount of time has passed for the fundraiser, you’ll then select trusted volunteers to go through the guesses and select the correct answer/answers or the nearest one.

If you have more than one correct answer, put all those names back into the container and have someone draw from the correct answers another name. That person will then have won the grand prize of this fundraiser.

Arrange for the winner to pick up their prize with a photo op for the local newspaper. Make an announcement in your local newspaper and school newspaper the funds raised for the school. Be sure to include a thank you to everyone who participated.

While there isn’t much foot work in this fundraiser, it’s still important to take the time to ensure you’ll have a fun and successful fundraiser. Depending on the turnout of this event you could even host this type of fundraiser again. This is sure to raise those needed funds for your school!

Strike or gutter this fundraiser is sure to be a success. Put on those bowling shoes and twinkle toe your way up to the bowling lane like Fred Flintstone. Welcome to your Saturday night “Bowlorama Fundraiser”.

Be it bumper bowling, glow bowling or just a good ole game of regular bowling, lanes will be filled with sounds of laughter and calls of strike. Start this fundraiser by contacting your local Bowling Alley to see if they’d like to take part by donating a night of bowling for this fundraiser. The best way to approach this would be to state why your hosting this fundraiser and what the monies are going to be used for. Most businesses enjoy taking part in community fundraising because it’s the perfect opportunity to draw attention to their own business by the charitable work they do. Too since the economy is so bad and monies have been cut from so many schools business know what it feels like to have funds dwindle away since they too are feeling the pinch of loss of income.

Get your best sales pitch on and relate how this would be a great opportunity for them too, to benefit by getting getting money from the sales of concession stand sales. Who doesn’t love some good cheesy nachos, when they are bowling? This way the school and the bowling
alley will benefit from this fundraiser.

Now setting up the date for this event will be easy. Since it’s going to be held on a Saturday, the day is established. When selecting the time remember school is back in, so pick a time parents are more apt to let their young ones bowl at. Usually an hour or two would be all most kids would enjoy, but don’t limit the bowling to just the kids, let their parents take part too. Family participation is a great way to bring in more revenue for the school.

So once the date is established and the time, print out fliers with all the information. Send these home with the students, but don’t limit this fundraiser to just that, spread the word. Post fliers
everywhere. Some places you might consider are, church community centers, daycare, libraries, city hall, recreation areas, businesses and neighborhoods. The more places you can leave these fliers the better turn out there will be.

On your flier don’t forget to list the time and date, how much the price of admittance will be, how long the fundraiser will be run, what it’s for, the location and the price of admittance. State that all
concessions will go towards the bowling alley to help raise money for their business, but all monies earned from being admitted into the bowling alley will go towards the school. They would be helping out not only their child’s school, but their local community too.

You might want to keep track of the number of those who plan to attend, so you can have a running count of the number who’ll attend. So have the students return their permission slips with the number of bowlers who’ll be attending. Usually there will be a capacity limitation, so if you have lots of people attending, you could arrange or an all day bowling event, so people could come and go as their own times permits. Make it clear if they leave and come back more than once they’ll have to ante up another buck or two.

Remind those who are attending to wear socks or bring socks. It’s so easy for blisters to appear when you’re not used to wearing bowling shoes. Have the bowling alley send a list of rules which you can make copies of and send home to their parents as the day for the fundraiser approaches. Stress that you’re encouraging parents to take part in this fundraiser as well. This is a golden opportunity for families to do something together, encourage at least one parent to attend.

When it comes to the end of the evening, here’s a few things to consider. Whoever took the money in for the school fundraising part of this event, should count the earned revenue and then the host/hostess should recount to see if you both come up with the same number. The host/hostess will be the one who is actually in charge of the funds until it’s passed on to the principal, school board, PTA or whoever will be in charge of the funds raised for the school.

In advance, have already set up a cleaning crew for after bowling clean up. This crew could consist of volunteers of students and parents, the host/hostess and the workers from the bowling alley. It’s always to leave a place in better condition than you found it. It sets up an opportunity for other fundraisers or events to be held, because you’ve left the place in sparkling condition.

However you approach this fundraiser, hopefully these suggestions will get you on the way to a great day/evening of fun and success with your fundraiser.

What is all that caterwauling about? Hey, it’s a “Karaoke Fundraiser”. Tone up those vocal chords and loosen those lips, it’s time to raise some money for your school.

From old to young people love to sing. There’s no doubt about it some can sing like a beautiful songbird, while others sound like a cat on a hot tin roof, but that doesn’t matter when it comes to karaoke. People loosen up and get silly when trying to keep up with the lyrics of their favorite song.

Do you have a local karaoke bar in your area? Do they rent it out for special occasions, even donating space for fundraisers? If you don’t know, why not call them up and ask. Tell them you’re trying to raise funds for your local schools and thought that hosting a karaoke night would be a great way to do this.

If they are willing to donate the space, you could state that by hosting your fundraiser there, it would draw in crowds which might not otherwise know this sort of place exist. The fundraiser part could be he price of admission to participate, and the sales of concessions will raise income for the Karaoke Bar, while the fundraiser is going on. This is a good point to share with the owner of the Karaoke Bar.

Your “Karaoke Fundraiser” should be promoted as a fundraiser for all. Families, single people, grandparents, business people and so forth can be encouraged to attend and lend their voice to raising funds for the schools.

Sweeten the deal by stipulating a prize will be given to the best karaoke singer. The crowd will select who wins, but you could have three judges to narrow the field down by saying who proceeds on to another round. Let this continue on until someone is crowned karaoke king or queen.

A point to remember is, if this is a literal bar as well as a karaoke bar, under no certain terms can liquor be served for this nights fundraiser. Since minors will be attending, it is important to share
this with the owner before festivity proceedings continue. The owner can then decide if he or she is still willing to donate space for the fundraiser.

If something happens and you can not set up the fundraiser in a karaoke bar, arrange to have a community center, a club, or a church’s community building to host the event. More than likely they’d love to be able to help out. Don’t limit yourself to one certain place to host this event or plans could go array.

Once the place is secured, advertise, advertise, this anyplace you can. Put an ad in the local paper, send flier announcements home with students, broadcast it over the local radio station and so on. You’re raising funds for your school, so let it be known the community is being called on to lend their support.

Arrange to have help with supervision, clean up, and keeping chaos at bay. You want this to be a fun experience for all who attend. You might even want to assign a few to help with taking in funds for admission. You’ll need to decide on what you’d consider a fair price of admission. Since foods will be purchased separately from the admission price, keep it reasonable.

Karaoke is the one of the newest crazes even though it’s been done for years. Kids enjoy this, grownups enjoy this, hey, even cats and dogs love to take part in this. So keep everything fun and this is sure to be one of those fundraisers people will come to again and again.

Get those tonsils moving and start planning for this fundraiser. It all starts with a few do…re…mi… notes!

With September comes Labor Day and what many see as the official ‘end of summer’. This is a great opportunity to host an “End of Summer” fundraiser for your school. So many people will already be planning to visit lakes and participate in outdoor activities, so this is a prime time to take advantage of this moment.

Start by sending out announcements home with the kids,. Have it setup so that parents will need to list how many of them will be attending and have them sign it. Then take a copy of the same announcement to the local newspaper office and place an ad announcing your fundraiser, so the general public will have the opportunity to take part too.

Make up release of responsibility forms if they should choose to participate in any of the water activities, jumping activities or whatever other activities someone could be injured at. Be sure you’ve listed bright, bold rules and guidelines for each activity which requires participation, this way everyone will know what they must do to ensure a safe and fun experience.

You’ll need to list a suggested price for this day of fun and eating. Be sure you stipulate the money raised is going to the school. Their joining in helps out the school system, by providing extra funds for school needs which might arise during the school year, which the school itself doesn’t or can’t provide for.

You can find different jumping rooms at party rental stores or you may know of someone who has them and would be willing to let you borrow them, while the fundraiser is going one. How you set this up is by allowing an allotted amount of time per jumping room. Have X amount of kids in at a time and set a buzzer. Once the buzzer goes off, the kids have to exit and another group can go in.

Regarding the foods, drinks, and snacks. Keep it as simple as possible while providing just enough to satisfy the days munchies. Hotdogs, hamburgers, Frito pies, cookies, can drinks, individual chips, potato salad, slices of pie, homemade ice cream and water could be offered.

Find volunteers to man each section of the food area. Each station should be housed with ice chest full of ice to keep things cool and safe. Whoever does the hotdog and hamburger stations should keep their meats iced until ready to cook.

For the condiment station, all things requiring cooling should be kept on ice. Things like mayo, ketchup and egg based sauces will spoil fast unless iced. Just like you provide safety for the water sports, your food safety is a must too.

As the sun starts to set and park services permitting, set up some smore areas for the kids to enjoy the experience and tradition of campfire smores. Nothing says delicious as chocolate and marshmallows.

Another point to remember is this: Don’t neglect asking everyone pick up after themselves. By picking up after themselves they are saving the park service a lot of work or yourself a lot of work later. Have plenty of trash can around for easy garbage disposal.

This fundraiser may sound hard to host, but with enough help and careful planning it will run smoothly. Your school is worth the effort and time it takes to set this up. Start planning now. Call in all those favors others owe you. Fall isn’t far off so start now.

Think about all the money which can be raise with this one fundraiser alone. Play it safe and play it smart and this will be a huge success.

What will it be, cheese, all the way, or create your own? Get ready for a lip smacking time… it’s “Nacho” time. This fundraiser is all about those delicious nachos, so bring the family, bring your friends, bring the neighborhood, bring the whole town.

No better and easier way is there to raise money for your school than by hosting this super easy and fun event. Start by getting permission to hold this fundraiser in the school cafeteria. Since the cafeteria is stocked with all the equipment you’ll need to fix these nachos, it would be great to host this nacho night there.

Try to pre-order, with the principals permission, chips, cheese, jalapeños, meat, beans, and all the toppings that go into creating nachos. If this can’t be done, then going to a place like Sam’s Wholesale, Cosco or any other wholesale business will enable you to find just about everything you’ll need to host this fundraiser.

To try to get a feel for all who will come, send out RSVP slips with the students and have the parents sign them with the number who’ll be attending. Have the students return them asap.

If you’re going to open this nacho night to the public, make sure you plan for that. People love to attend fundraisers and when it comes to helping out the community they live in, even more so. You need to be sure you have enough space to house a large crowd. However you advertise the nacho fundraiser be sure you stipulate the need to RSVP the number attending with each phone call that comes in. They don’t need to leave a name but for sure the number they will be bringing, this way you’ll know what will need to be bought or ordered.

Plan to offer a couple of different varieties of nachos, or let them build their own nachos to their taste. Price according to the selection chosen. The whole idea is to make enough money to actually raise funds for the school minus all expenses, so price accordingly.

You might consider setting up a salsa bar with condiments where the salads are usually served, in the cafeteria, this way it won’t need to be manned, just refilled as items are deplenished. Ask for a few students ahead of time to volunteer their services by keeping this area well stocked.

Celebrate this festive fundraiser with sombreros placed on each table, filled with extra chips so everyone can be sure to get all the goodies which drop off the nachos. You could even have bright and colorful objects placed around the cafeteria which reflect a Mexican feel. Have students color pictures of different Mexican cultural themes, find or borrow some ponchos, maracas. Gather a few pinatas to use as decoration as well.

If you’re really wanting to splurge, have the pinatas filled with candies so they can be hung at the end of the fundraiser so the kids can each take a turn hitting them until they bust and the spoils spill out. This is a great way to thank everyone for coming to the nacho fundraiser.

For the grownups, have some dulces (sweets) prepared. It would be easy to find a recipe on line for a quick Mexican sweet sure to please the palate of anyone. You’be amazed at the response you can get just by providing these little end of the meal goodies. This is a sweet way of thanking everyone for helping out by purchasing these nachos.

So the evening is set, the menu is planned, the desserts are taken care of. All you need to do now is relax and enjoy this delicious and easy way to host a fundraiser.

For ages kids have been entertaining themselves, for hours, with jumping fun. It’s great fun and healthy. So this fundraiser is all about jumping rope. Make this fundraiser not only fun, but make it about raising funds for school activities.

You could take advantage of this fundriser several times throughout the school year. Have sheets made up which students can take around to get signatures for pledges. Have those pledging, write down next totheir name how much they will donate per however many minutes the student jumps.

Encourage the students to not limit their selection of pledgers to friends, family and acquaintances either. Suggest they walk up and down their neighborhood getting signatures for donations with the supervision of an adult.

Ask businesses, city organizations, church members to sign up to pledge as well. Wal-Mart is good about letting school groups set up tables for school activities. So try to set up a booth with students to get shoppers to pledge donations..

Don’t limit yourself to Wal-Mart, see if other grocery stores will do the same. Be sure to get phone numbers with those pledges so they can later be called for the pledges to be picked up.

Parents can take their child’s pledge sheet to work with them and see if they can get some signatures from co-workers. Grandparents can do the same. The more people who’ll sign up for this fundraiser, the more funds that can be raised.

Allow for about a week of signature gathering. Then set up the day for the jumping to begin. Encourage parents to be there. You’ll need help for adults to help supervising this jump. Each volunteer should have at least five students to keep an eye on with their jumping.

Once the student quits jumping then his/her time needs to be entered on their pledge sheet, which those supervising that group of kids will have. They will then need to sit out and wait for their group members to finish.

You’ll want each student participating in this fundraiser to bring their own jump rope. These are inexpensive and can be found at different merchandising stores, even dollar stores. This way the school wont need to have an added expense purchasing jump ropes.

Encourage the parents of the students to bring a light snack and drink for their youngster who’s jumping. The school gym is the best place to hold this event or another school building large enough to house several jumpers.

Before the jumping begins already have permission slips signed. Collect all the pledge sheets and divide them into groups of five. On the day of the jumping, hand out the group of five pledge sheets to the volunteers who’ll look over that particular group jumping.

After the event is held, now begins the collecting phase. The kids should have collected phone numbers with their pledges. Have them call up their donaters and make arrangements to collect the donation pledge. Encourage each student to smile and say thanks you when
collecting the money.

After all the collecting is done and the tally has been figured, make an announcement over the PA System to let the kids know how much money they raised for the school. Perhaps sometime during the school year, an ice cream party can be planned as a way of thanking the students for all their hard work helping to make money for their school.

Don’t forget to do this fundraiser a few times throughout the school year. Kids enjoy doing these kind of things and people enjoy for the most part, donating to a good cause.

Don Ho’s voice and hula dancers set the scene for this fun and festive fundraiser. No it’s not a trip to Hawaii, but it will be just as fun. Before school starts again, it’s a great opportunity to end the summer vacation with food and entertainment while hosting a “Hawaiian Luau Fundraiser”

Get started right away planning this fundraiser so it will draw in those crowds and be fun and entertaining.

Finding your location to host such an event can be hard, but it’ll need to be the first step you take before you can even plan everything else. If it’s not to hot where you live, try to find an outdoors area to host it. If the heat is scorching then seek an area where the floral and fauna can help set the tone.

You might check with your Chamber of Commerce to find the right location to host this. Since this is a fund raising event for the schools, by getting them involved could increase the effectiveness of raising money. Don’t hold back for asking if the area could be donated for the time the Luau takes place. Once your location is found, the planning begins.

Play up the “Fundraising” part by seeking food donations from local grocery businesses. Instead of burying a pig in the ground, opt for grilling pork and beef on grills with Hawaiian flavors. You can hit up local BBQ places to see if they’d be willing to donate their services for cooking the meats.

Now planning the decorating is serious. You want this luau to be as authentic as possible without actually being in Hawaii experiencing one. So plan ahead and do your research. Visit local craft shops, flower shops and decorating stores to see what they’d be willing to donate towards your Luau.

Lei’s, grass hula skirts, banana leaves, palm fronds, tiki torches, Hawaiian music, fishnets, shells and sand can help set the mood of the night’s luau. The more you can put into making this fundraiser feel as authentic as possible, the more interest you’ll draw and the better the donations may be.

Once all the planning is done, advertise your fundraiser. State that it’s for raising funds for local schools, who need help with having monies for those extra activities planned for their kids throughout the school year. Tug on those heartstrings of parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles.

In your advert for this fundraiser, encourage all to wear their best Hawaiian themed outfit (albeit modest outfit). State there will be a prize given for the best male and female outfit at the end of the luau.

Have donation boxes set up throughout the venue, overseen by trustworthy adults. At the entrance of the party have volunteers put leis around the neck of all who attend and have an area set up at the entrance for the entrance fee, which will cover all the food and entertainment provided for this fundraiser.

The Summer months are winding down and just around the corner the tolling of school bells will be heard. Excited chatter and scurrying feet resound throughout the halls of different schools, as now begins another school year.

All those school activities will start taking place and could be teachers are racking their brains, trying to come up with different types of fundraisers so money can be earn to support and help out these school activities.

Here’s one such fundraiser which can be held, anytime, through the coming school year. In fact this fundraiser could even be supported by the school and take place in the school. This is a “Cookie Lollipop Fundraiser”.

A selection of the most popular cookies, baked as lollipops and situated in a flower pot to create an exciting and delicious array of yumminess. The great thing about this fundraiser is, the cooking of the cookie lollipops are done in the schools cafeteria.

You could ask for volunteers to help bake the cookies, or you could see if the school would be willing to ask help from the cafeteria ladies, in the baking of the cookies. They could for the most part bake the cookies with the sticks in them and the decorating and arranging of the cookie flower pots can be done by volunteers and students.

After the plan for the fundraiser is set to motion, then can begin the selling part of the fundraiser. This can be done via the newspaper, handouts, and just good old word of mouth exposure. Have students take part by selling to family and friends, even knocking on the doors of neighbors.

This will be a two part fundraiser. The first wave sells, then the second …delivers. So as these arrangements are sold, names and addresses will need to be written down with the choice of cookies they’d like in their flower pot arrangement. This will require a list of cookies which will be baked.

There needs to be at least four selections to choose from. Some could be peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar and oatmeal. Don’t limit yourself to four, if more can be bake, the greater the variety the more chances you have of selling these cute little arrangements.

Regarding the baking of these cookies. The cookies will need to have sticks baked into them in order for them to stand up in the flower pot without breaking, so the round sucker sticks should probably be used. Too these cookies will need to be thick enough to house the stick, but not to thick they’ll topple over or break apart because of the weight. A few trial runs, of small amounts of each cookie, can be done beforehand to see what way works out the best.

When it comes to the packaging of the cookies prior to deliver, here’s where creative decorating comes into play. Because the cookies will be standing up, supported by flower Styrofoam or flower clay, actual decorating should be kept to the individual wrapping of the cookies.

Bright and colorful cookie wrap can be used, each tied off with a twist tie. Then a few strands of pretty ribbon can be added to each pop to ape leaves. Arranging of the cookie pops can be left up to the creativity of those helping to put them together. Each pot should hold about twelve cookies.

Once the arrangements have been made, then delivery should take place as soon as possible. At the time of delivery, the funds for these cookie arrangements should be gathered. Before hand you will have decided on how much to ask for these cute little cookie treats. The ultimate goal is to raise fund for the school, so people will expect to pay a little more than they would at the bakery.

To recap a bit. Plan the event, make arrangement for the event to be held, then follow through with your plans ASAP. Always explain to those you’ll be approaching, this fundraiser is being held to raise funds for the school year to help cover whatever needs will come up the school itself doesn’t cover.

Let your yes mean yes and follow through with your plans as stated to those who would be giving donations or funds to whatever event is being held. Even if would be buyers don’t want to participate, never over an opportunity to ask for voluntary donations. Take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves. Don’t limit yourself to just friends, family and neighbors, think outside the box and hit businesses, clubs, community centers and so on. Remember to ask for permission though when entering a business.

Hopefully this little fundraiser will be something your school can do. However you go about it, make it fun. Your school is worth all the effort it takes when it comes to raising funds for it.
